Surgery Room This is our surgery or Operating Room (OR). Routine surgeries are performed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Emergencies may be performed any day of the week except Saturdays.

Operating Room (OR) When we sedate an animal for surgery, we use an induction agent for short term sedation and then we use gas to maintain them under general anesthesia. The gas anesthesia machine is shown on the left side of the picture.
