Veterinary Case Files
Dr. Eger has written a few articles that describe some cases from the view of a veterinarian. Two of the articles were about her own dogs and how she had to deal with things as an owner and as a veterinarian (My Dog Clyde and A Doggie Stroke). One article describes what we had to go through during the aftermath of hurricane Frances in the hurricane season of 2004 (The Winds are Blowing). She also describes an emotional case she had about a lonely and depressed woman who found a little street dog and the two healed each other (Maggie the Street Dog). The fifth article is actually a group of stories about how pets have taken a turn for the worse and the decisions their owners had to make (Chances for a Miracle).

Here are three additional stories. A Tale of Two Cats is a story about two of Dr. Eger's cats, Lexie's Smile is a tear jerker about treating a young dog for over 5 years for cancer, and The Heat is on in Surgery is an interesting case about the removal of a kidney in a nearly dead dog.
