Dr. Lance Coy and his three dogs Czar, Sadie and Hershey. As an undergraduate, Dr. Coy went to Louisiana State University on a swimming scholarship and at one time was ranked in the top 10 in the country in the crawl. He graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 and started working for a practice in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Coy likes the outdoors and decided that the big city was not what he wanted. He decided to move to PSL where he can pursue his outdoor activities and still practice quality medicine. He likes to fish and boat and is on the water during most of his days off.
Dr. Coy and his dog Czar.
Czar responding to the question "Do you want some Cheese?"
Sadie the three legged wonder. Sadie was his first dog and when he went away to college he had to leave her with his parents. After graduating, his parents liked her so much they refused to give her up. She was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and Dr. Coy removed the cancerous leg. The cancer had already spread to the lymph system and Sadie is presently undergoing chemotherapy. Although not curative, it should help prolong the quality and quantity of her life. |
