Anesthesia Monitoring
While your pet is having surgery, we monitor heart
rate and oxygen saturation level in the blood stream using a device called a
pulse-oximeter. This gives the doctor warning of a potential problem and allows
early response to make anesthesia and surgery safer. We can also determine blood
pressure using a doppler.
